The petrochemical plant will primarily produce high-density polyethylene (HDPE) and polypropylene (PP) by sourcing natural gas produced from the Caspian coast in Turkmenbashi (Turkmenbasy) district of the Balkan Province.
The 2×693 MW Safi coal-fired power plant is located close to the city of Safi in Morocco. With a capacity of 1,386 MW, this plant is the largest in Morocco.
YAMAL LNG is an integrated project encompassing natural gas production, liquefaction and shipping. The Project consists of construction of a liquefied natural gas (LNG) plant with an output capacity of around 16.5 million tons per year, using the South Tambey Field as a resource base.
The refinery will cover an area of 12km² and will process 400,000bpd of Arabian Heavy and Arabian Medium crudes to produce 80 million barrels per day of gasoline, 250 million barrels per day of diesel and more than one million tonnes per annum of benzene and paraxylene petrochemical products.
The complex will cover an area of 2,000ha and will produce nine million tons of petroleum products and 4.5 million tons of petrochemicals a year.
The Fadhili Gas Plant project is a greenfield development located 30 km west of the city of Jubail in the eastern province of Saudi Arabia. The gas plant will have a capacity for around 2,500 MMSCFD and will process sour gas from the Khursaniyah oil field and the Hasbah non-associated gas field.
Combined cycle power plant
The project includes the construction of a re-gasification facility, eight LNG storage tanks with a capacity of 225,000m³ each, and marine facilities, including two marine jetties and berthing facilities for loading.
With its lifespan set to expire, the Seocheon TPP will be decommissioned, and construction of a 1,000MW-class USC power plant, Shin Seocheon TPP, is underway at present since commencement in July 2016, targeting completion in 2020.
It will supply 225,000 barrels a day of low-sulphur fuel oil (LSFO) to local power plants and produce jet fuel, kerosene and naphtha feedstock for petrochemical plants.
